Vanilla cookies

Ingredients:

120 biscuits or in total 60 cookies
» 250 g MEGGLE Premium Butter
» 250 g sugar
» 4 eggs
» 250 g ground walnuts
» around 700 g of flour

Decoration
» apricot jam
» 100 g vanilla powdered sugar

Preparation:

All ingredients should be at room temperature. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200°C. Spread a large tray with baking paper. Beat the butter with the sugar in a mixer. Add the eggs one by one, stirring constantly. Then add the ground walnuts, then the flour. Knead a smooth, slightly sticky dough. Mix well and roll out on the table the dough with a thickness of about 0,5 cm and thinner. Spread the dough when rolling. Cut the biscuits into the shape or preferably with a small cup. Arrange the cookies tightly in a baking tray and bake for about 5-7 minutes. While the first batch of cookies is baking, prepare the second one for baking. You can stick each cookie with another, while they are still hot, with a little apricot jam. Immediately roll them in vanilla powdered sugar and put them in a box to rest a bit. You can try them now or keep them locked in the box for not more than a week.
