At about 135 years ago near Munich, Josef Anton Meggle – the grandfather of today’s MEGGLE owner Tony Meggle – opened a small cheese factory without even knowing what it would grow into over the years. Thus he created a company MEGGLE operated until today by third generation private owners, which is among the most reputable and famous manufacturers of dairy products in Europe and worldwide.
